According to the work plan of our project this month, the school and the teacher were introduced on the eTwinning project page. The students introduced themselves to their friends in other schools with the avatar pictures they made.

EXPECTED RESULTS

Students' awareness of the problems caused by sea pollution; sensitivity to the protection of seas and coasts; acquisition of the basic competences in science and technology, communication in mother tongue, communication in foreign language, digital competence, scientific process skills, creativity, problem solving skills, communication and teamwork, design skills are expected to be improved.

PROJECT AIMS

1. To raise awareness of the students about the importance of the seas. 

2. To increase awareness on the protection of seas and coasts. 

3. To enhance consciousness about the effects of marine pollution on the marine ecosystem. 

4. To enable students to use scientific study and research methods. 

5. To develop students' cooperation and communication skills, 

6. To give opportunity for the students to improve problem-solving skills. 

7. To develop students' creativity and digital skills, 

8. To provide students to use technology and the Internet safely.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

We want to prevent the pollution of our seas and coasts and to leave a livable, safe and healthy environment for future generations. In our project, we will investigate the importance of the seas in the region we live in, the causes of sea pollution and the effects of the pollution on marine life. We aim to raise awareness by doing various activities and to bring a sense of love and protection to the sea.
